
Rune Kringstad
Rune Kringstad draws, paints and works with various woodwork (including design and construction / manufacture of handmade furniture and other creative objects in wood (the works are only individual productions.)). Occasionally he also designs and sews costumes. He has also been doing body and face painting. He plays various instruments such as, didgeridoo, Tibetan singing bowls / resonance bowl, shamanic drum. Rune has meditated for several years and taken various educations and courses in, among other things, Reconnection Healing, Inca traditions and energy work. He has been practicing Qigong and Taiji (Taichi) since the beginning of 2016 and he is currently pursuing a three-year study to become a Qigong teacher in Taijiwuxigong under Master Shen Jin at the Buqi Institute. Rune was new to performance art in 2021. Rune has a fascination with and studies the body's mechanisms, how the body responds to different situations and stimuli, how to play on teams with the body and its instinctive and intuitive reaction patterns and mechanisms to use it optimally. Through performance Rune has find a new space to explore body movements and continue finding the body’s unknown energetic and creative resources.
