Carol Stampone

Carol Stampone (Brazil, 1983) is an interdisciplinary artist, a mother, and a foreigner. She is a brown feminist woman that writes, tells stories, and performs existential fragile certainties. She has a bachelor’s in Philosophy from UNICAMP, a master’s in Philosophy from UiB, and theater training from TEUC (Coimbra, Portugal). At the core of her current practice is the routine of dancing and writing, which give birth to her almost poems. Her latest philosophical research is focused on refugeehood and feminism from the Global South. She is also working on a book of short stories about motherhood and is a part of a few writing collaborative projects.
