BIPF HOUR - TIME seminar

On the occasion of the BIPF art festival HOUR, Bergen International Performance festival organized the seminar TIME. The seminar was intended as a meeting place between the artist and audience with room for discussion and exchange of experiences.

Sunday 1st March at 14.00 Kurt Johannessen open the seminar with a lecture performance. Followed by talks from Sylvie Ferrè, Øyvind Kvalnes, and Douglas Park where they share their experience of the performance HOUR. Marilyn Arsem and Alastair MacLennan talked about time, followed by reflections from each of the participating artists. Eleanor Clare, Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen and the students from KMD give a presentation of their experience.

About Real Time and Constructed Time a lecture performance by Kurt
Johannessen.
14.45:
The official observers of HOUR/TIME Sylvie Ferrè, Øyvind Kvalnes, og
Douglas Park will talk about the performance focusing on the topic of: time.
15.45:
Artist talk; 100 Ways to Consider Time by Marilyn Arsem and About
Time by Alastair MacLennan. Followed by reflections by the participating artists.
17.45:
Presentations by Lilibeth Rasmussen, Eleanor Claire and students of
KMD, UiB.
18.00:
Closing av the festival. Dinner - all invited

*Workshop students KMD: Students from Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design at the University of Bergen (KMD) took part in a writing workshop “Witness” Experiential Writing: text as a means to document performance which organise by Eleanor Clare and Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen. Workshop was presented at the seminar.
