Cecilie Hole
Cecilie Hole is a visual artist working with sculpture, installation, performance, and photography, with a particular focus on ecological relations and the agency of materials. In her recent projects, the performance *Where to dump or not to dump* plays a central role — a work in which the acts of gathering, carrying, and placing materials become methods for examining responsibility, waste, landscape, and human impact on natural cycles. Through photography, she expands these performative actions, using the camera as both an analytical and poetic tool. Hole is a member of Aggregat and the art group The&, teaches art at Volda University College, and completed her master’s degree in design, art, and crafts at the University of South-Eastern Norway in 2024.
